Last week, her family confirmed on a social media site that legendary wrestler Sarah Lee had passed away at the age of thirty. Lee is best known for winning the 2015 series of strong enougha reality show in which contestants compete for a contract with WWE.
She was married to former WWE wrestler Corey James Weston, better known in the ring as Wesley Blake, with whom she had three children.
Expressions of appreciation poured out on the famous wrestler. World Wrestling Entertainment was just one of the companies and people who shared a statement about Sara Lee’s death on their social media.
“WWE is saddened to learn of Sarah Lee’s passing,” the company wrote. “As a former Tough Enough winner, Lee has been an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE extends its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and fans.”

Sarah’s mother, Terry Lee, announced her death in a Facebook post on Thursday, October 6, writing: “With heavy hearts we wanted to share that Sarah Weston has gone to be with Jesus… We are all in shock and the arrangements aren’t perfect. We respectfully hope that Our family mourns. We all need prayer, especially Cory and her children.”
The cause of Lee’s death was not revealed.

Days before her tragic death, Sarah Lee posted a selfie on Instagram marking her return to the gym after battling her “first-ever sinus infection.”
She wrote in the caption, “Celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym two days in a row! My first sinus infection kicked my ass #Saraselfie #gains”

WWE and MMA star Sonya Deville tweeted, “Totally heartbroken, life is too short. Sarah was amazing. Sending love and prayers to her family and loved ones.”
English wrestler Saraya Bevis, better known as Paige, wrote, “This is heartbreakingly tragic. Sending love to her family. A very nice human being that I am glad to know and work with.”

Sarah Lee began her career in the small town of Hope, Michigan, and in 2010 graduated from Meridian High School, where she was on the track team and competed as an electric winch.
She found fame after being crowned the winner of Season 6 of strong enough Competition series. She won a $250,000 contract from WWE. She said, “I think my fans can relate to me because I’m a normal girl.” Midland Daily News after her victory. “I was just me.”
She still frequently posts photos and videos of her gym as well as her workout results.

Sarah Lee married an ex-boyfriend WWE Westin Blake, real name Cory Weston, in December 2017. Earlier that year, she gave birth to their first child, a baby girl, in May.
The couple shared three children, often pictured on Sarah’s Instagram page.
“Two years ago, I said ‘yes’ to dating me. I don’t know why. lol. But it was the best thing that ever happened in my life! You are the foundation of my life and my family,” he wrote on his Instagram account in November 2017, a month before they tied the knot. “She gave me the most beautiful daughter in the world and a life I can only dream of. After the shocking news of her death, a colleague WWE Wrestler Paul James launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for Corey and their children.
“We are all shocked and saddened by the sudden death strong enough Winner Sarah Lee, “The campaign–which raised more than $100,000 from its $20,000 goal–read.” Since her loving husband, Corey, picks up the pieces and continues to raise his three children, the last thing anyone in this position would want to worry about is money, funeral costs, and everything that comes with it.”
James added, “The wrestling community has always been one community coming together in the aftermath of tragedy and this is no different. Every penny collected from this will go straight to Cory and the kids. Thank you all in advance. RIP Sarah, you’ve been one of the kind.”
