Detect underlying causes
If you have more than one miscarriage, having a full preconception checkup helps detect any underlying causes of the loss. By detecting them early, you may have a better chance of conceiving and giving birth to a healthy baby. Depending on your medical history, they may prescribe certain medications that can improve your chances of conceiving.
