Denver Broncos – NFL betting analysis
In Week Eleven, the Denver Broncos dropped their AFC West game to the Raiders by a score of 22-16. With the loss, Denver failed to cover the spread, as they had a -3.0 edge on the spread. The teams combined total of 38 points stayed short of the pot line of 41. The Broncos and Raiders entered the fourth quarter tied all at 10-10 before Las Vegas edged Denver by 0 in the final period. Through 10 games, the Broncos have had an ATS record of 3-7. To date, they have a record of less than 1-9. This week’s total bet of 36.0 is below the line in their previous games.
Going into this week’s game, the Broncos’ offense is averaging 14.7 points per game, which puts them 32nd in the NFL. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance against a Panthers defense that ranks 25th in points per game. Although the Broncos entered the game ranked just 15th in passing yards per game, they would benefit from facing a vulnerable Carolina high school through the air. We expect Denver to perform above average on passing offense. On the ground, our projections show that the Bronco offense will have its problems. Even though they had a good game against Carolina, look for Denver to come in rushing yards that are below their season average of 102.6.
Carolina Panthers – NFL betting analysis
This week, the Carolina Panthers are hoping to get back on the winning list after falling 13-3 to the Baltimore Ravens. In terms of betting, Carolina covered the spread as an unfiltered 12.5 pips. With the overbetting streak at 41, the two teams fell below that number when they combined for 16. Carolina and Carolina went into the fourth quarter all tied at 3-3 before the Panthers edged out the Panthers by 10 in the final frame. Through 11 games played, the Panthers have an ATS record of 5-6. To date, they have a record of less than 4-7. This week’s total bet of 36.0 is below the line in their previous games.
As the Panthers prepare to face Denver, they are ranked 25th in points per game at 18.82. This week, the team is matched against a scoring defense in third-ranked leagues, looking for Carolina to put up a below-average performance compared to its usual offensive production. This week, look out for the Panthers who are having a hard time in the passing game, because not only have they struggled to move the ball through the air, but they are facing the #4 ranked passers allowed. On the field, Carolina is also considered to have its fair share of problems, as they enter the game as a team ranked 19th in peak yards per game. Plus, they’re up against a defense that has done a good job of stopping runs.
Pick your NFL bet today – Broncos vs. Panthers
Looking back at recent games between Denver and Carolina, the Panthers have taken 4 of the last 5 contests. The two teams have combined to average 44.8 points per game in the last 5 meetings. Denver and Carolina did not play each other in the 2021-2022 regular season.
The Denver Broncos have gone 3-1 for difference in these games. The Broncos’ offense averaged 24.6 points per game over the last 5 meetings with Carolina, compared to the Panthers’ 20.2 points.
Over the last 3 games of the regular season, the Broncos have gone 1-2 straight. Like their first-hand record, Denver struggled against the point differential, going 1-2. During these games, they have put together a record of under 0-3.
In their last 3 away games, the Broncos have a straight record of 1-2 while going 2-1 against the spread. The team averaged 15.67 points per game in this stretch.
Over the last 3 games of the regular season, the Panthers have gone 1-2 in a row. In these games, they only went 2-1 against the spread, while posting an over-mark of 1-2.
In their last 3 home games, Carolina has averaged 20.33 points per game while allowing 18.33 points. The team’s record in this stretch was 2-1 while Alabama was 2-1.
Recommended ATS bet pick: Broncos -2.5
Recommended OU Bet Pick: Under 36.0
