In Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, each hero has their own unique weapon to use in battle. Each of these weapons has its own unique attacks, which range from close-range type blasts to long-range strikes. Although the weapons themselves are not upgraded in the game, they do gain a bit of extra power or range as the heroes who use them level up.
Despite this, weapons get some customization in the game through weapon skins. There are a few different variations of weapon designs, including Speedway, Steampunk, and Gleaming, each of which can be unlocked for each weapon. However, some skins and weapons go better together than others. If you are looking to customize your weapon, you may want to prioritize these weapon skins in particular.
10/10 Speedway Bozuka
The Speedway Weapon Skin Pack gives your weapons a Mario Kart aesthetic, reminiscent of a racetrack. Among the alternative quests for Bowser’s Bowzooka, a massive cannon, the Speedway Bowzooka’s skin matches best the Koopa King’s aggressive fighting style and sinister character. The orange color also resembles the lava associated with Boozer Castle.
This weapon is a purchasable skin, available from Barrendale Mesa for 2 coins, obtained from completing side quests.
9/10 highway brigade
Rabbid Luigi’s ambitions to be a DJ make his Discruptor, a Frisbee turned weapon, the perfect item for him to use. Hit many enemies with one throw. Most Discruptor weapon skins look great, but Speedway’s skin in particular lends a fun twist to this weapon.
The Speedway Disruptor looks just like the wheel of a racing car, and is the coolest design choice for a carousel weapon. You can get this skin from Terra Flora Salesbot for 2 Planet Coins.
8/10 Speedway Dukes
Rabbid Mario turns to fist in battle, using The Dukes, a sturdy pair of gloves that pack a mean punch. One of the best forms of weaponry that Dukes have is the motorcycle racing leather, which gives the weapon a sporty look. The glove fingers look like tires, making it look as if Rapid Mario is wearing a massive truck on each grip.
Speedway Dukes are relatively easy to get, and they are available for purchase at Beacon Beach for two Planet Coins.
7/10 vintage dukes
Speedway Dukes isn’t the only skin that looks epic with Rabbid Mario’s favorite weapon. A close tie is The Vintage Dukes. The antique skin on all weapons uses a mix of bright red, yellow and other bright colors in a lively old school style. For Rapid Mario, Antique Dukes suit him because they emphasize red in their design.
Ancient Dukes can be found at Pristine Peaks, which can be purchased from Salesbot for two Planet Coins.
6/10 vintage kabomer
The capomer is Rabbid Rosalina’s weapon of choice and proves that appearance can be deceiving, as the weapon is a Luma stuffed with a cannon inside. It allows a series of shots on a single enemy. The weapon skin that works best with the Rabbid Rosalina pistol is the Vintage Kaboomer.
The bright colors of this alternate look pair well with the stuffed animal’s weapon, and give the Capomer a teal hue similar to Rosalina’s dress. It is available for 2 coins in the Palette Prime Store.
5/10 Vintage Triple Troll
Rabbid Peach’s weapon is the Triple Troll, a rocket launcher that shoots a single enemy three times in a row. It’s the perfect weapon for her aggressive offensive style. While her default pink and white coloration matches her look perfectly, the Vintage Triple Troll is a perfect alternate look for her weapon. Its bright colors appeal to Rapid Beach, a bit of a fashionista.
To get the Vintage Triple Troll, simply visit the Beacon Beach Salesbot and buy it for your two Planet Coins.
4/10 Wildwood Blade
Fierce Edge, the new Rabbid character to join your group, fights with a rectangular Flying Blade. Wildwood weapon skin uses wood and leaves in its designs to give weapons a natural yet sturdy look. This rugged design fits the rugged Edge character well.
Finding the Wildwood Blade requires effort, as it is one of the treasures associated with the side quest. To get this weapon look, you’ll need to head to Palette Prime and beat the Closing the Gap quest.
3/10 Steampunk Sharpshooter
The Steampunk weapon skin set uses gears and vintage aesthetics to create unique looking weapons. Among the Steampunk releases, Sharpshooter is the most elegant and coolest. The Sharpshooter is Luigi’s weapon of choice, which provides a powerful attack from a distance. Steampunk Sharpshooter suits Luigi in particular because it gives off Luigi’s Mansion vibes.
To get this weapon skin, Luigi will need to team up with Mario on a Brothers in Arms side mission at Pristine Peaks. The Steampunk Sharpshooter is the reward for completing that battle.
2/10 shimmery pom-perilla
The perfect weapon for her is Princess Peach’s Boom-Brella, a creative toy on her canopy. While the default design is perfect for Boom, the shiny weapon skin is a great alternative to Boom-Brella. The white and gold color palette makes it look similar to Peach’s usual canopy and gives the weapon a touch of elegance befitting a Mushroom Ruler.
Getting a Gleaming Boom-Brella is quite a challenge. You can unlock it as a reward once you complete all the side quests in Barrendale Mesa.
1/10 Shiny Dual Launcher
Mario’s Dual Slinger is one of the best weapons in the game, and it’s an asset in battle because it allows you to get two shots in one turn. The Gleaming Dual Slinger in particular has an elevated style that befits the Mushroom Kingdom’s greatest hero.
You will have to wait a while before you can earn this weapon skin. You unlock the Gleaming Dual Slinger as a bonus to gain 100 percent on Cursa’s fortress, which naturally occurs when you beat and defeat the last boss of the game.
