10/10 The Pendragon Knights fight for the Queen
The Knights of Pendragon were a group of individuals brought together by the mysterious entity, the Green Knight. This entity placed the souls of former Knights of King Arthur’s Round Table within the Knights of Pendragon, enabling the group to protect Britain.
Based on Arthurian legends and British folklore, the Knights of Pendragon will come to battle many monsters and wizards, including the Faustian Mys-Tech Organization. After the UK imprint ended, the group joined forces with a group of European superheroes led by the Black Knight.
9/10 Seven of Salem have relationships with other magic users
The Salem Seven are the children of Nicholas Scratch, a powerful wizard who lives in New Salem, a hidden community of magic users who escaped during the Salem Witch Trials. Scratch’s mother, Agatha Harkness, left town and became Franklin Richards’ nanny. In a rage, Nicholas forces his children to kidnap Agatha, bringing Franklin with them.
In response, the Fantastic Four traveled to New Salem and rescued Franklin and Agatha from Scratch and his henchmen. After his death, the Salem family remained in New Salem, battling Agatha’s apprentice the Scarlet Witch on multiple occasions. Since then, the group has reformed, and has decided to become protectors of their hometown.
8/10 The Fates are a family of magical warriors
The Destines aren’t a team that’s well known to most Marvel fans. All of them are the children of Fares Khaled and his wife, the magical jinn. She was born with magical abilities, and the family broke up after a tragic accident. Some tried to stay out of the affairs of the world, some wanted to become superheroes, and some tried to take control with other groups.
Series clan It will only last twelve issues, and many more tie-ins have featured Destinies teaming up with various heroes like the X-Men and Spider-Man. The fates will end up appearing in a file Ms. MarvelHowever, their history has changed to make them exiled faeries who wish to return to their original world.
7/10 The Legion of the Unliving keeps coming back
A Marvel character doesn’t stay dead forever. In the case of the Unliving Corps, this is a fact that can be a blessing or a curse. The group was originally gathered by Kang the Conqueror to battle the Avengers, but they are freed from his control. Since then, there have been many incarnations of the group of deceased heroes and villains.
A more famous incarnation of the group arose when the Grim Reaper revived a lineup of fallen Avengers members. The result was similar to before, The Legion of the Unliving broke free from the Reaper’s control and one of them, Wonder Man, returned to the world of the living. The most recent incarnation involved vampire versions of Marvel characters who were sent to hunt down other vampires for their master, but were also defeated by the Avengers.
6/10 The heirs are out for mystic blood
Spider-Man has come to defeat many villains over the years. One of his most powerful foes is Morlun, a long-lived vampire who drains the life of Spider Totems, beings with magical ties to the Web of Destiny. While always losing to the Wall-Crawler, Morlun needed help from his family to hunt down the other totem and drain its essence.
The Inheritors use their connection to the Web of Destiny to track down and kill several Spider-Men across the multiverse, forcing the web-slingers to team up to stop them. The group of vampires used their innate magical abilities to devour many lives before they were stopped and imprisoned.
5/10 The Night Kings are the night hunters
Sometimes, a team of professionals is needed to take care of certain problems. In the 1990s, Doctor Strange feared that more vampires would appear and try to seize power. In his attempt to prevent this from happening, Strange has been recruiting vampire hunter Blade, detective turned vampire Hannibal King, and paranormal specialist Frank Drake as an unwilling group of undercover investigators known as the Nightstalkers.
The Nightstalkers will fight various supernatural monsters and supervillains while dealing with their personal problems. They later became part of the Midnight Sons, forcing the splintered group to split up further. The Nightstalkers disband after King and Drake are believed dead following their final battle with the vampire Lord Varnae.
4/10 The Legion of Monsters intimidates the competition
When it comes to horror, Marvel has their own versions of many famous horror icons, such as Werewolf by Night and Man Thing. Marvel will bring together a handful of these monsters to become the terrifying Legion of Monsters, gathered solely to fight against otherworldly, shady foes.
With a notable roster, the Legion of Monsters has fought other supernatural entities in order to protect the human race, even when they were still being persecuted by the humans they protected. The Legion of Monsters has since remained in the shadows, and their latest adventure forces the group to protect innocent monsters from mystical monster hunters.
3/10 Weird Academy Presents The Next Generation
When readers collect scholastic aspects of X-Men With the magical adventures of Harry Potterthey got Marvel’s latest lineup of young spellcasters Strange Academy. The series focuses on an all-new group of teens with magical properties who are trained by various Marvel fan-favorite witches and wizards.
Strange Academy’s well-diverse characters come from different parts of the Marvel mythos, and their unique upbringing forces the group to cross their differences to battle evil and get study papers. Seems like a breath of fresh air, especially for non-superhero comic readers.
2/10 The Hand is an organized group of mysterious ninjas
The Hand has always been a threat to the Marvel Universe. The Ninja Order was created in the 800s to help those in need. However, the clan has been usurped by a rival group, who introduces them to the studies of black magic.
Through these practices, the Hand has continued to cheat death and wreak havoc over the centuries. Some of their clients even possess various magical talents that serve as paid mercenaries. However, thanks to the likes of Daredevil and Elektra, their plans for world domination fail, forcing the Hand to return to the shadows.
1/10 The Midnight Sons are mystical avengers
Collections like the Avengers prove fans enjoy when favorite characters team up to take on massive challenges. In the Wizarding World, there was no group with the level of star power that the Mysterious Midnight Sons could boast of. The team, originally called the Nine, first joined forces to battle the demon queen Lilith and included several heroes such as Ghost Rider and Morbius.
Unfortunately, after Lilith was defeated by the Midnight Sons, they soon went their separate ways. Since then, the name has now been associated with other groups of magic users who are forced to cooperate to counter mystical threats. Although not as popular as the other groups, the Midnight Sons still have a presence in the Marvel universe, as they recently got their own video game.
